Woodworking II: Joinery

In this demo/lecture-based class, students will learn about a variety of essential woodworking joinery techniques such as lap joints, mortise & tenons, rabbets, dados, and miters. Students will also learn the importance and varieties in wood glue and fasteners when appropriate. This workshop is open to all experience levels, but is geared towards preparing those who have taken Woodworking I to pursue more complex projects of their own. Due to the scope of techniques covered, it does not include a finished project to take home; however, the class will include practice time cutting joinery which participants can apply to many future projects.
