Laser Cutting I: The Ion

The Laser Cutter is an essential tool in the rapid fabrication and prototyping process. It is used to fabricate a variety of materials - wood, acrylic, leather, cardboard and more. You will be given an overview of the machine itself, what materials you can and can't use, and the basics of operation.

In this hands-on workshop, learn how to design then and laser cut a custom keychain with the laser cutter control software.

2D CAD or vector graphics experience helpful but not necessary.
